1) May 2nd, 2008, the Heaven Gallery In Chicago, the premiere of a new work commissioned by the New Music Project of the Western Michigan University School of Music.

2) February 4th, 2008, University of Michigan School of Music, Theatre, and Dance-Performance of work entitled Epicycle.

3) May/June 2008, the San Francisco Conservatory of Music - Premiere of a new work for solo guitar.


Past

1) May 26th: Premiere of 1st movement of "Serenade " for Piano

          Performance Location: New England Conservatory of Music, Boston, Ma.

2) June 28th: Dragon Zodiac, commissioned by the Yellow Barn Artists Program, well performed at the Amherst College Buckley Recital Hall.

Awards: Congratulations to William Zuckerman who was recently named

1) A finalist in the 2007 ASCAP Morton Gould Young Composer's Award.

2) A finalist in the national NACUSA Texas chapter composition competition.

3) A winner in the UMass Lowell MENC composition competition.

4) "Emerging Composer" by the New York Art Ensemble's prestigious young composer's competition.

BM Candidacy: William Zuckerman will be pursuing a BM in composition at the University of Michigan this fall as one of fourteen undergraduates in the entire musical composition program.

Yellow Barn: William was accepted as one of six composers to participate within the Yellow Barn Young Artist's Program music festival. Performances of his new music will be given.
